REFERENCE BUREAU
A personal record of things worth keeping.
Objects, places, images, materials, and ideas collected through curiosity and attention.
A place to document the things that leave an impression.
01
THE IDEA
The Bureau began as a simple habit.
Keeping notes. Saving references. Photographing objects. Remembering places.
Over time, these fragments became a collection of influences and observations that continue to shape how I see the world.
02

HOW I LOOK AT THINGS
I have always been drawn to things that age well.
Objects with evidence of the hand behind them. Spaces that feel considered without feeling designed. Materials that become more interesting through use.
The things that stay with us are rarely the loudest. They are usually the ones made with patience, purpose, and care.
04
THE PERSON BEHIND IT
I am JAC, a designer and creative director interested in how people experience objects, environments, and information.
My professional work focuses on interactive experiences, visual systems, and storytelling through design.
Outside of client work, this space is where I collect the references that continue to influence me.
05
A CONTINUING RECORD
This is not meant to be a finished collection.
It is a place to return to, add to, reconsider, and occasionally change my mind.
A record of what catches my attention and why.
